Terms of Service

By accessing or using ProctorEdge (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws. The Service is operated by Hulkpage Limited, registered in England and Wales.

If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must follow all instructions provided by ProctorEdge and your institution during an exam session.

You must not attempt to circumvent any proctoring controls, share access credentials, impersonate another candidate, or interfere with the integrity of any assessment.

Institutions are responsible for ensuring their candidates are informed of exam rules and the nature of proctoring before sessions begin.

The following actions are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account suspension and notification of your institution:

Using unauthorised materials, devices, or assistance during a proctored exam; tampering with camera or audio feeds; running scripts or automation tools during a session; attempting to reverse-engineer or decompile any part of the Service.

Any attempt to bypass proctoring controls will be logged and reported to the administering institution.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Sharing access is prohibited. Notify us immediately at security@proctoredge.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice, depending on severity.

Paid plans are billed on the cycle chosen at purchase (monthly or annual). All prices are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. VAT is applied at the applicable rate for your country.

Payments are processed by Paystack (NGN) and Stripe (USD/GBP/EUR). Your card details are never stored by ProctorEdge.

Unused plan seats do not roll over between billing cycles. Overage usage is billed at your plan's published per-candidate rate on your next invoice.

Monthly plans may be cancelled at any time; no refund is provided for the current billing period. Annual plans cancelled within 14 days of purchase are eligible for a pro-rated refund.

To request a refund, contact billing@proctoredge.com with your invoice reference.

ProctorEdge and all associated technology, AI models, and software remain the exclusive property of Hulkpage Limited. Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership rights.

Exam content created by your organisation within the platform remains your property. You grant ProctorEdge a limited licence to process that content solely to provide the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hulkpage Limited's liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or data loss.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to account holders at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
